Sales Manager

Full Time

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in the role of Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and management of the Waterfit business across the UK through a delivery of excellent client experience as you develop long-term strategic and loyal collaborations with the marketplace as we continue building on our existing successes.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, resourceful individual with a passion and desire built around identifying growth for existing offerings as well as new opportunities. Being structured and well organised are just one of your key attributes as you will be responsible for developing a wide range of relationships from framework managers across to contractors.

You will already have a commercial / technical background and are able to understand, react and deliver outstanding customer value and service from initial concept to delivery. Acting as the voice of the customer you will play a pivotal role in monitoring client's needs and requirements as we strive to develop further solutions to supporting growth.

Key Requirements:

Commercial

  • Experience in the water utility sector
  • Experience in managing Framework contracts
  • Effectively manage client's expectations through frequent contact
  • Align customer requirements with business targets and manage expectations
  • Encourage relationship growth and contract development
  • Good knowledge of merchants and distribution channels
  • Understanding and appreciation of various stakeholder challenges within the customer value chain and balance against business needs
  • Identify potential new products and assist with their optimum development in collaboration with product development teams

Technical

  • Strong technical background
  • Ability to provide technical support to customers
  • Understand the product life cycle (for product development)
  • Previous experience of launching new products

  • A flexible approach and positive attitude
  • Able to engage at all levels
  • Passionately network, internally and externally, in order to build and maintain trusted and loyal relationships

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence
